As members of the neighborhood, Delucchi’s Market’s owners, Patty and Enrique Sanchez, are committed to providing a supermarket that the community can be proud of. “We are truly a family-owned market; we have even included our kids.” It’s true; outside of school and work, Diego, Sofia, and Hugo help out with various aspects of daily life at the store, from stocking to marketing.

Most staff members are not “biologically” related but have become part of the family over time. Like Cheese Specialist Monica, many have been with Delucchi’s since its doors opened. Maribel loves how the warm, family-oriented store community extends to its customers. As Rosa points out, “We know our customers, and they know us. That’s what creates a personalized shopping experience.” Vlad adds that the independent market allows employees to add their personal touches. As most of the staff is local, the store truly reflects the neighborhood “vibe.”
