Rosé: Triennes 2018 Rosé
Cheese: Clawson Crimson Wensleydale with dried sweetened cranberries
Bob’s Notes: Just sit and relax while sipping this wonderful crisp and dry rosé from Triennes in Provence France. Pale pink in color, this wine offers a bouquet of strawberries, white flowers with ints of vanilla. Perfectly matched with this delicious crumbly moist Wensleydale Cheese from England. Studded with sharp, juicy cranberries from North America. Served on a lighted toasted baguette. Enjoy!
Rosé: La Crema Monterey 2018 Pinot Noir Rosé
Cheese: Marin French Cheese Petite Truffle Triple Creme Brie
Bob’s Notes: A perfect way to end your day, a beautiful elegant La Crema Rosé with its aromatics of mandarin, pink grapefruit and guava with flavors of wild strawberries and watermelon and wonderful mineralogy makes this a perfect match with this lovely Petite Truffle Triple Cream Brie cheese from Marin French Cheese Company. A delightful creme cheese speckled with hints of earthy black truffles, rich and smooth. Bon Appetit!!
Rosé: Domaine De Couron Ardeche
Cheese: Saint Agur L’Intense Force et Fondant a la Fois
Bob’s Notes: From this small family owned property in Ardeche France comes this delicious, outstanding 100% Grenache Rosé! My personal favorite. Yes, it’s made for sipping but my gosh, nothing wrong with gulping down a few glasses! Very fruit forward rosé with intense notes of strawberry and light cherry fruit. Just the perfect amount of acidity to match well with this incredibly creamy smooth blue cheese from Saint Agur pasteurized cows milk from the village of Beauzac in the Month du Velay, France. Smear it on a lightly toasted baguette or your favorite cracker, but be warned, you won’t probably want to share this, it’s so good!
Rosé: Domaine de Beaupre Rosé
Cheese: Cypress Grove Purple Haze Fresh Goat Cheese with Lavender and Fennel Pollen
Bob’s Notes: Invite your friends and family over this weekend to share this delicious and wonderful dry rosé from Coteaux D’Aix-En-Provence. A nicely blended rosé with 95% Grenache, 5% Syrah and 5% Cinsault. Delightful rosé with cherry, melon and tangerine flavors with nice acidity to match well with this local Cypress Purple Haze Goat Cheese, filled with flavors of Lavender and fennel. Creamy and smooth. Tantalize your taste buds!
Rosé: Angels & Cowboys 2018 Rosé
Cheese: President Brie soft-ripened cheese
Bob’s Notes: Not sure this rosé even needs an introduction. It’s so well known throughout the world from Sonoma County. Bouquet opens with ripe mango and citrus zest aromas with enticing savor notes. Flavors of white peach, nectarine, and fresh raspberries with lingering notes of lavender and Granny Smith apples. Pour yourself a glass of this Grenache based rosé to go with this creamy delicious Presidents Brie Cheese. Bake it in the oven for a gooey delight, topped on a French baguette! Creamy, smooth and delicious!
Rosé: Olema Cotes De Provence 2018
Cheese: Laura Chenel Fresh Goat Cheese Fig & Grapefruit
Bob’s Notes: Enjoy this refreshing beautiful crisp and dry rosé from Olema wine company imported from Provence France in the village of Vidauban. Soaring aromatics of watermelon, strawberry, raspberry and rose petals. Wonderful acidity that pairs well with Sonoma based Laura Chanel Fig and Grapefruit Goat Cheese. A nice zesty flavored goat cheese that you could smear on a roasted fig!
