NEW!! Suzuki Shuzoten Hideyoshi ‘La Chamte’ Sparkling Junmai Sake – $7.99
A playful straw-lemon in color with medium-fine perlage and a persistant mousse, this sparkling sake shows lively notes of white peaches and honeysuckle that are underscored by hints of toasted almonds and minerality.  On the palate, this sake is demi-sec with a perfect texture and zesty acidity that unfold over a lengthy finish.
One of the oldest breweries in Akita prefecture, Suzuki Shuzoten has been run by the Suzuki family for 19 generations. Their sake still bears the name Hideyoshi, given to them by a feudal Lord who deemed the brewery one of the best in all of Akita. They have won numerous awards with their philosophy of innovation and tradition.

NEW!! Sakura Emaki Rose Sake – $18.49

With a beautiful and enticing pink hue derived from the color of the rice, this sake has elegant aromas of cherry and plum blossoms, underscored by notes of apples and berries. On the palate, the sake is silky smooth with a touch of sweetness that is balanced by a crisp acidity and a light texture that create a balanced, transcendent sake.
As for the name of this delightful sake, Sakura means cherry blossom and refers to the beautiful flower, so emblematic of Japan, while Emaki refers to the illustrated scrolls on which the first ever novel, The Tales of Genji, were written and preserved.
