5 Things to do at Home to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day:

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at home with these simple, fun, and festive activities. Here’s our St. Patrick’s Day checklist:

1. Wear Green – First things first, don’t get pinched. On St Patrick’s Day, it is customary to wear shamrocks or green clothing & accessories. The color green has been associated with Ireland since the 1640s when the Irish Catholic Confederation used the green harp flag.

2. Eat a Traditional Irish Dish – Eat a traditional Irish-inspired dish like corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes. To make this dish at home, come on over and grab some of our delicious Shenson corned beef!

3. Drink Irish Beer – It wouldn’t be a St. Patrick’s Day celebration without beer! Take a look at a few of our Irish beers.

4. Enjoy some Sweets – You won’t have any trouble finding 4-leaf clovers if you come in for these St. Patrick’s Day cookies. We also have cupcakes and more!

5. Learn something new – Learn more about the Irish culture. Listen to Irish music, attempt Irish dance, or study a few Irish words. “Ligeann a cheiliúradh” means “let’s celebrate” in Irish!

All of us at Delucchi’s Market wish you a happy, festive and safe St. Patrick’s Day!
